October 30th, 2008, a team within CCP whose main focus is optimization of both hardware and code. This was followed by the Quarterly Economic Newsletter from our very own economist, DrEyjoG, examining the trends and changes within EVE’s dynamic market. But we’re not done yet! Last but not least we have a blog written by our CEO, Hilmar V. P tursson, to answer some questions about how CCP is faring in the midst of Iceland’s current economic turmoil. (Spoiler: Things are actually better than you might think.)

Jumpplanner Celebrates Three Years with Giveaway
Three years ago this week Jumpplanner, a wonderful tool designed to help capsuleers in their massive capital-class ships plot their jumps, was launched. In honor of Jumpplanner's anniversary, ICSC has announced the Jumpplanner Anniversary Giveaway.
Entering is quite simple. Either register a new account on the site, or log into your existing account. Doing so between 18 October and 1 November 2008 will automatically register you for the drawing. Prizes include game time, the EVE: The Empyrean Age novel, a t-shirt, and a mouse pad.

CCP Office Tour bidding ends Oct. 22nd 2008
The countdown to Fanfest 2008 is well underway. Again this year, CCP is pleased to support Child's Play , a charity that provides gaming equipment, books, toys and craft materials to children's hospitals around the world for the benefit of patients and their families, by auctioning a chance for you and a friend to tour the CCP headquarters in Reykjavik, Iceland. To win, you simply need to have placed the highest bid by sending an email to officetour@ccpgames.com. The deadline for all bids will end at 00.00 GMT on October 22nd 2008.
